- As Logistic & transport Safety Officer responsibility is to monitor the overall situation, implement safety regulations and provide sound and timely advice to IMA staff and management in order to support the safe and efficient delivery of program activities in the designated area of operations.
- He will be report to Operational Manager.
- Should be capable of work independently.
- If having huge transportation, must be stay with the transport team until deliver the material safely.
- Ensure all heavy vehicles properly inspected and documented.
- Conduct regular safety training to all drivers and employees.
- Should prepare journey management plans and ensure all emergency equipment and contact details are updated.
- Support the development of HSE policies and programs.
- Should familiar with the HMIS AND NFPA systems.
- Capable of take immediate actions.
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (Ergonomic hazard, safe lifting, MSDS, Chemical storage.
- Conduct transportation risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
- Contributes to the development and delivery of safety planning and training for program staff, and contributes to the design and development of the Program Safety and Security and Logistics Plans.
- Carrying out Regular Site Inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
- Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
- Recording of Incidents and Accidents and prepare regular reports (statistic, LSTK etc.
- Follow up on any deficiencies noted during inspections, and ensure that they are corrected
