Provide support to the asset for all Geological aspects, including, but not limited to, development of depositional models, reservoir correlation, static geomodel build, volumetric estimates and well planning.Reservoir evaluations and integration of both regional and asset focussed reservoir data.Volumetric estimation and distribution of STOIIP. This requires the integration of many forms of geological, geophysical and engineering data employed in both deterministic and probabilistic assessments. The geologist will also provide indicative resource estimates using recovery factorsProvide stratigraphic descriptions through the interpretation of local a regional correlation data (lithostrat, biostrat’, petrology, petrography, logs heavy minerals etc)Description of the structural geology including structural style definition, stress regime, fracture prediction, fault seal analysis and the potential influence of structure on reservoir presence and quality Well planning. Work closely with the Geophysicist to prepare well prognosis for drilling and identify any potential geotechnical uncertainties, risks or hazards to the Drilling Engineers. Define with the asset team data requirements from the well including, cuttings, core, mudlogging, fluid samples, logging requirements.
