Based in Doha, Qatar, Naufar is a ground breaking new sanctuary for wellness and treatment of addiction and substance misuse disorders in a state of the art purpose built wellness and rehabilitation facility. We are seeking passionate, intelligent people to become part of a pioneering team to create the integrated and medically-led wellness program that will provide non-stigmatising clinically based and hospitality-enhanced services within this unique facility.
The post-holders will contribute to the multidisciplinary assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care tailored to the needs of patients experiencing substance-related and addictive disorders and comorbid conditions.
JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Project Services
a) Assist in the development of clinical infrastructure
b) Assist in the development and implementation of an operational model
c) To assist in the integration of exercise and movement as a key component in part of the recovery model for individuals living with a pattern of substance use, associated disease or illness and pain
2. Clinical Duties
a) Provide high quality expert clinical care assessing, formulating, developing and conducting individual and group exercise plans using specialist knowledge for specific medical conditions.
b) Flexibly manage a varied caseload of both inpatient and outpatient services with complex needs; supporting lifestyle changes through safe and evidence based physical activity.
c) Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication with patients and the delivery of care.
3. Educational Duties
a) Co-ordinate and participate in physical health and wellbeing in-service development with clinical and non-clinical staff to promote knowledge of physical activity to enhance patient care.
b) Be an active contributor in the genesis of innovative research demonstrating the important role decreasing sedentary behaviour plays in re-establishing a patient’s sense of well-being
c) Contribute and implement naufar service development
GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES :
1. Report for duty punctually whilst maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the organization’s grooming standards.
2. Maintain good working relationships with your team members and all other departments.
3. Ensure that you read the organization’s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
4. Comply with local legislation as required.
5. To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of your superior and/or organization.
