I am new to drones within the last few months and have been trying to use them to capture NDVI imagery of my companies crops. We use the DJI Phantom 3 Professional drone. Initially, I would fly our fields manually but that takes a lot of time so was testing out DroneDeploy for flight planning and creating missions that could be flown automatically. I have been having really bad luck though with this app, or it may just be that I'm not fully understanding how this works. Once I get my imagery and process it via Pix4D, it comes back with 'wrinkles' in it and sections of misaligned images. Why is this? Is it due to that app, is it due to the camera, is it due to the settings within DroneDeploy?
That attached images were flown 11/21/15 about mid day. My settings in DroneDeploy where 250' altitude, 90% frontlap, and 75% overlap. I formatted the SD card with the camera settings: white balance of sunny, ISO 200, shutter 640, and timelapse for every 5 seconds (set within the DJI Go app).
