- Assist in the formulation and implementation of standards for analysis, design, programming, testing and documentation, and to ensure adherence to these standards
- Define end-user GIS applications requirements and assist in their analysis.
- Design and develop GIS applications in accordance with international standards.
- Support and maintain developed applications.
- Initiate and recommend the development and upgrade of GIS applications
- Perform QA/QC development standards and testing to ensure robust, bug-free, high performance application systems that meet user`s expectations.
- Compile necessary software development life cycle professional documentation.

Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Personal Qualifications:
- 3 years of practical experience in GIS software development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language. Arabic is a plus.
- Excellent experience in most of the ESRI GIS products and development tools.
- Practical experience in ESRI ArcObjects, ESRI`s Model Builder, and MS VB, VB.NET, C#.NET, and other server side scripting languages.
- Practical experience in using Oracle and MS-SQL databases.
- Good experience in system analysis and design. In data modeling and geo relational database design.
- Experience in location based systems using GPS and navigation data.
- Awareness of cartographic standards and geographic information metadata standards.
- Ability to work with teams. Has good attention to details. Excellent problem solver.
- Practical compliance with standard technical application documentation guidelines.
