The Role
• Contribute technical content and build technical credibility during the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the design and go-to-market efforts for a technical service offering
• Build and maintain relationships with technical contacts at clients, specified vendors and analysts
• Anticipate and resolve technical problems identified independently, and as requested by others; conduct technical quality reviews for complex solutions
• Contribute to technical thought leadership in the form of whitepaper content, lectures or presentations in area of specialization
• Create and deliver deep technical training in area of specialization
• Support the Planning, execution and control of all resources, tasks and activities for the project
• Direct the effective operation of assigned projects towards achieving customer’s business objectives.
• Plans, Directs and coordinates the technical and administrative execution of projects and ensures that services are in accordance with the budgeted objectives.
Requirements
Demonstrated thorough level of understanding and experience in Government related projects including the challenges and business requirements necessary to manage the technical- and human resources-related operations.
• As a hands-on application expert, demonstrates thorough knowledge of defining and managing system project lifecycles (i.e. implementation and upgrades) that meet engagement objectives and budgets, including the following:
1.Integrating data points and using appropriate modeling methods to express future state requirements in both business and software terms
2. Troubleshooting issues and recommending alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and the use of standard templates and tools
3. Supervising the work of programmers and specialists to complete the configurations
4. Recruiting and/or developing engagement team staff
• Proven direct experience with creating business change using system functionalities and multiple major ERP packages
• Ability to supervise junior staff and client resources across multiple work streams
• Proven ability to maintain relationships with key executives and a network of professional organizations or affiliations
• Proven ability to write and present cogently for industry audiences and clients, including journal Knowledgeable of the activities within the business processes
• Experience in developing / implementing test strategies (Unit, Integration- User-Acceptance and Stress-Test) and experience in developing training materials.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior resources
• At least 6 years of managing teams and prior consulting experience a plus
Technical skills required:
• ArcFM Miner & Miner and ArcFM UT AED-SICAD.
• ArcObjects programming using .NET
• ArcGIS Server, ArcIMS and ArcSDE Administration.
• ArcSchematics Configuration and Design.
• ArcGIS Data InterOperability Extension (GIS Data Conversion).
• GeoDatabase Design: UML Case tools, Ms Visio.
• Ms Project
• ASP.NET, VB.Net, VB 6.0, XML, HTML, DHTML, VBscript and Javascript.
• SQL Server and Oracle Administration, MS Access
