We are a successful and forward thinking Saudi retailer that is looking for an outstanding individual to join our retail business with the proven skills to successfully manage a warehouse and logistic operation.
As our Warehouse and Logistics Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation (inbound, put away and outbound) whilst also ensuring that our home delivery and installation team deliver outstanding service to our customers.
This is an exciting role for someone to add real value to a growing business and to play an active role in the development of it.
Main Responsibilities:
-Ensure an effective and efficient goods in process, liaising with our suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers and merchandise team.
- Ensure the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
- Ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, QC and timely dispatch of goods
- Ensure all stock control systems and processes are fully implemented and that KPIs are achieved
- Ensure a robust IT system is in place thus ensuring an efficient warehouse operation whilst analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements in line with forward business needs
- Ensure Health and safety procedures are put in place to safeguard both employees and stock
- Ensure a robust QC process is put in place and ensure QC issues are effectively raised to the relevant people
- Manage the home delivery teams ensuring they carry out their duties in a professional manner adding to the customer experience.
- Ensure store deliveries are carried out in a timely manner to agreed schedules and costs
-Manage all of the costs within the warehouse and delivery team operation ensuring relevant KPIs are in place and are being achieved
- Develop, motivate and inspire your team to consistently meet and exceed company kpis
