I working on several layers that share similar symbology in the arcview. I'm trying to remove duplicate Symbology from the legend. Manually I can do it by click "properties -> symbology" and then start to choose wha't to remove (see jpg2), but it will take a lot of time.
I work with arcview 10.2.2 & python 2.7.5.
In jpg3+4 i added attribute table of the 2 layers
Here i build the legend, but as you can see there duplicate symbology and i want to remove it. Now, in the real map i have 32 layers with a lot of duplicate symbology.
I hope someone can describe an easy way to accomplish what I'm after with manually way and also with python script?
