Reporting to the SVP Logistics, the Regional Director Logistics will be given the mandate to develop strategies for logistic arrangements to the maximum commercial advantage of the business for certain markets/countries. Will be responsible for all logistic activities and will need to work closely with senior management, brand directors, regional development managers and franchise partners to ensure that logistic requirements are met at the right time, place and within costs.

- Responsible for the development and execution of the global Logistics & Supply Chain strategic plan for assigned markets / countries.
- Responsible for the global regulatory, product registration and compliance.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of logistics & supply chain best practices across systems, demand planning, inventory control, etc.
- Responsible for setting KPIs for head office and regional team heads across all divisions (i.e., warehouse, distribution, operations, planning, development, product registration & compliance, etc.).
- Develop internal and external networks to ensure effective communication and representation between operational areas in order to meet and exceed their needs.
- Responsible of developing the teams to achieve targets, ensuring that cost reduction and improved service levels are maintained.
- Coach and develop and manage a large, internationally dispersed team.
Profile
- 15 to 20 years gained within retail, consultancy in early career. 5 of which in a senior leadership role.- A degree in business with a higher education in logistics management.- Strong organizational, leadership, communication and effective people skills.- Strong influencing skills & an excellent negotiator.- Comfortable in managing highly complex businesses.- Proven track record of delivering success through teamwork.
