This position will be responsible for representing the company at various Customs Points, Border Posts, Government Agencies and Service Providers to ensure smooth and*timely movement of incoming and outgoing cargo.* The position ensures that this is done in a fair and transparent manner considering and respecting the laws of the land.* The position will also*ensure timely customs clearance, *payment of customs/shipping agent charges, proper documentation in line with customs laws, etc.* You will also coordinate and support customer service, third party logistics, warehouse, product teams in ensuring smooth operations in line with customs requirements* and as per Company guidelines.
The position*based in*Muscat will be*part of*the*Logistics team of Omasco.
About You
You will be a*higher secondary school or more qualified Omani national with*at least*two years*of relevant experience in a similar role.*You will have*expert knowledge on customs rules and regulations.**Completed course certificate in Customs Clearance with Customs Registration ID is essential along with*good communication skills (Arabic and English) is essential.**You will have a proactive, motivated approach and*will be a team player.**Adequate working*knowledge of MS Office Applications is preferred.*
Valid Omani driving licence is a must.* The position requires travel to outside locations.
