Under the guidance of the General Manager, the psychologist counsels the personal and professional health and well-being of clients by conducting psychological assessment and treatment services as well as implementing and evaluating client programs to promote emotional, mental and physical well-being.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply psychological principles, theories, methods and techniques through direct patient services, consultation, education and research in problems of human effectiveness, adjustment and emotional disturbance in a health and fitness setting.
- Provides confidential psychological assessment and treatment services for clients, including crisis intervention, relationship and learning difficulties, anxiety and other mood disorders, professionalism, and assessing and/or monitoring existing mental health conditions.
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat psychological and neuro-psychological disorders.
- Provide individual therapy, behavior modification programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the GM.
