1. Manage all inbound/outbound shipments, logistics planning and warehousing functions.
2. Manage necessary applications through Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA), Customs and any other regulatory bodies pertaining to imports, exports, purchases and sales requirements.
3. To assist the department manager to implement new processes and business enhancement projects that drive incremental value to organization
4. To lead the team to carry out regular inventory cycle count and ensure security control of all warehouses.
5. Supervise determination of accurate inventories of raw materials, consumables and finished goods, and to ensure that they are inventoried in a good, clean and usable state.
6. Provide timely and accurate reports and/or information on all inventory levels in order to facilitate closure of financial accounts and other decision making.
7. Preparation & monitoring aged stocks; to develop a consistent procedure to ensure aged stocks are reviewed in proper & that disposition plans are in line with Head Office requirements.
8. To ensure customer’s deliveries are efficient and no mistake to minimize company’s costs.
9. Work in tandem with Planning/Production to analyse material issuance & usage per job to close gaps in inventory reporting.
10. To ensure all operational procedures comply with GMP principles, Health, Safety and Environment Policies, and legislative requirements.
11. Stock monitoring & reporting for materials under duty exemption; submission of monthly or quarterly reports as regulated under the JAFZA & Customs Act. These include stock movements to/fro all external sub-contract works & external warehouses.
12. To maintain good business relations with relevant parties such as forwarders, logistics and shipping agents, customs and relevant government agencies.
13. To ensure that the housekeeping and safety standards are maintained at all times, including upkeep and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
14. Any other assignments or reviews as and when necessary and delegated.
