The Logistics Manager liaises between production and commercial departments by managing in a cost effective way the process that starts by the receipt of finished goods, through stocking, transferring till the distribution to customers. He / she manages and motivates the team to ensure the stocking of finished goods as per the FIFO method (First In First Out) and their delivery as per the agreed service level.
He / she is also responsible for controlling the availability of raw materials, auxiliary and packaging materials to meet business needs and requirements. He/She supervises and control garage operations.

Anticipate allocation of an alternative solution for the storage capacity when required.
Ensure optimum usage of warehouses capacity.
Provide delivery schedules based on stock levels and projected production forecast.
Control the reception of materials according to the orders placed and ensures entrance control.
Handle the responsibility of the damage location through controlling movements and stock and communicating with finance and supply chain for materials write-offs.
Control the work of the delivery entity in order to ensure the delivery of goods as per the OTIF method for local & export markets
Follow up on distribution performance by setting KPIs, reporting deviation when they occur and setting an action plan to close the gap.
