Description
To implement the long term strategy to meet growth and profitability targets set by the board & to work with the management team in order to direct the formulation and implementation of short and medium term business plans that will realise these goals
Develop and implement corporate strategy to meet corporate objectives
Provide leadership and direct corporate decision making
Review and evaluate the processes designed to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk in all aspects of the business and take action continuously to improve the company's performance in these areas.
Ensure that the internal and external resources are available that are capable of delivering high quality services and service levels that meet increasingly demanding customer expectations.
Lead and motivate staff to set and achieve challenging targets
Engage stakeholders, corporate staff, customers, business partners and the community in order to instil them with confidence in the long-term success and growth of the business
Profile
Bachelors degree - essential for visa purposes
20 years' experience in supervisory, management & leadership positions of which 5 must be with full profit & loss (p&L) accountability
Minimum 15 years experience in operations, supply chain or logistics
Knowledge of the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region
Business development skills
Project Management skills
Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
Innovative & entrepreneurial
