fishnet on global administrative data

I have a shape file ( entire country) from global administrative data. I am planning to make fishnet of each cell sized 1 km X 1 km using Arcgis 10.3,I could not assign numbers in the tabs cell size width and cell size height as I have no idea of size (units) of the map(shape file).

I tested using some arbitrary number but they are not functioning.

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
