On behalf of our client a leading 220 bed Specialist Hospital in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia we have an opening for a Consultant Clinical Pathologist.
• Perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations. Carry out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses, Prepare specimens and samples, constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, titrators, pipetting machines and pH meters.
• Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced.
• Recording and sometimes interpreting results
• Practices within the framework of clinically relevant and scientifically valid standards, guidelines and criteria.
• The ability to provide client-focused, high quality work performance, including emergency service provision
• Conducts regular ward rounds to formulate a multi-disciplinary treatment plan.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients within the range of the specialty.
• Assessment and referral of appropriate patients under your medical care to other appropriate medical facilities as well as accepting referrals of patients with medical problems
• Participate in the on-call Rota of the department for patient care and admission.
• Continuous update of knowledge in the medical field as well as continuously upgrading level of skill in *field of profession. Participation in committee meetings
