Build and Implement the business plan to ensure volume and revenue budget is met or exceeded
• Lead on Key Accounts negotiations and Management
• Propose region volume and revenue sales target for S&M D and CEO approval, monitor sales volume and revenue performance against target and take corrective actions as required in order to ensure maximum contribution yield from the region in terms of product mix (Air, Sea, Land) & customer mix and rate
• Provide feedback on market pricing and company competitiveness and make recommendations on rates adjustments based on market conditions
• Deploy strategies to widen the customer account base in the region and abroad and ensuring coverage of all sectors of the market while delivering a balanced yield between high and low revenue segments, monitor key market shares to ensure growth is at optimum level in order to make recommendations to Operations on service improvements and increase market penetration
• Analyze market trends, economic forecast and internal/external feedback to provide accurate and reasonable outlook on business performance
• Measure sales, Key Accounts Managers and customer service activity against KPI and ensure consistency and quality of approach across the region
• Liaising with Operation Dept to review current and future business requirements in terms of Sea, Air transport, Warehousing, Project Logistics and Custom Clearance and adapt sales strategy in order to reduce operational costs at all times
• Follow up in coordination with accounts department on all outstanding collections where payments are due and jointly approve credit facilities for key accounts in order to ensure timely receipt of all due payments
• Work with key accounts to motivate increases in business levels (volume and/or contribution) including seeking improved integration and joint operational efficiencies between the account and the company
• Maintain excellent relationship with key clients
• Build a positive image among key customers and build long-term key account partnerships
• Assuring that overall policies and procedures set by top management are applicable and the work of the sales team are in accordance
• Ensuring compliance with timely reporting and development of the Sales process through MillerHeiman
• Coordinate internal team and client issues, follow ups and process improvement with operations
• Build key competencies in the Sales team for Account Management, market intelligence, and key focus areas
• Regular Analysis of existing and pipeline customers ensuring profitability and long term retention
• Trouble shooting
• Explore new opportunities in region
