I have a Feature layer that does not display symbols consistently. Symbols at certain locations are randomly not be visible. Zooming in-out will randomly show/hide a symbol at a particular location but display symbols at other locations consistently, within the same visible extent.
It is not the same location that a symbol is not visible every time.
The FeatureLayer layer has image(png) symbology, developed using ArcMap connected to an SQL Server Data source, deployed on ArcGis Server 10.3.1.
The layer is consumed via the ArcGIS Javascript API version 3.14 (and dojo 1.10.4), rendered as a FeatureLayer in OnDemand mode.
Analysis of the SVG DOM is consistent with the displayed map layer (e.g. 5 image elements for 5 images drawn/visible; no DOM element for the missing symbol).
Fiddler Network analysis shows that the missing feature (artifact) is actually retrieved from the ArcGis server via the REST API with all the other features that are rendered.
This is a problem seen with other similar feature layers too, and is across 2 different instances of ArcGis Server and on multiple browsers (IE 11, Chrome v46 and FireFox v42) and on multiple client systems.
